The “Otherways” products are made entirely by hand.
The hand is present in all the stages of the manufacturing process of “Otherways” products, from the processing of the yarns and their dyeing to their packaging and their labeling through their weaving. Sure and methodical, it is also maneuvering on the wooden looms guided by four seasoned Nepalese weavers.
The hand is sovereign to install, set, adjust and weave on the loom which requires a specific expertise in the writing of unpublished patterns.
The hand is not here a unique tool but represents several in the service of the intelligence of a versatile and qualified team of 30 Nepalese craftsmens. The apparent repetition conceals a myriad of gestures giving man the ability to create.
The “Otherways” products combine the virtuosity of this secular know-how and the originality of a more contemporary intention.
